He still plays in clelebrity softball charity things. Get a chance to see him doing this its a great time.

He was the guest on the only Charley Moore (the fishin who'aah) show that I ever liked. I would start a thread on how annoying that guy is but
I am sure it has been done...

Did Lee really pitch a game on acid??

He was truly a Yankee killer in his day. He threw everythng in the book at them. Its a shame how his shoulder was injured.

Two things I remember most about The Spaceman:

Throwing his Lee-phus blooper pitch to Tony Perez in Game 7 of the 75 Series, and having it disappear over the Green Monster in a flash.

His public service ad for the 55 mph speed limit--"Don't drive faster than my fastball. Keep it under 55".

You may have him confused with Dock Ellis, who actually threw a no-hitter on acid.
