Wife: Something ate my green beans and I found deer tracks, that @#$%^er needs to become venison if it does it again......I planted those beans three times this year..

Hung some sheet strips neck high to simulate a fence and started to do as you recommend, but how much beer can one man possibly drink???

I have heard many stories about bear sightings in wooded areas such as Scituate and Richmond! I also heard about four years ago there was a bobcat sighting in escoheag (don't know correct spelling) their out there.....

Yup, I live in Richmond and about 5 years ago neighbor saw bear cub sitting at the end of my drive way. His wife said "boy that sure is a big cat." He said,"Nope dear that's a bear!" They are here, just not in big numbers yet. I grew up in the berkshires of MA and we had them quite frequently in my area and yard. The cubs are cute just keep your distance.

My wife used to live in Fishkill, in upstate NY. She had the same problem with deer. She planted habanero pepper plants around the perimeter of her garden, and never had another deer try to eat anything
