Depending on how understanding the family is about your fishing....I would fess up, tell the truth about how you didnt realize at first it was THAT weekend. But make sure you apologize and make up for it by resceduling that special "family weekend" while youre at it.... You may get some heat for it now but if you say nothing think of the trouble you'll be in then!
	Simplify.......
