I wish i could say yes but I had a ton of worms left over from a trip cut short due to weather the other night and i didn't want to waste them... it was however a home-made tube and worm setup

next ones will be on the sluggo's, im still trying to figure that approach out.

Thanks guys,
I gotta say it was pretty cool and probably the highlight of my summer (so far ) My buddy now understands why this is such a big part of my life and why I talk about fishing so much. Its amazing how a fish like that can get everyone around you excited and in a good mood. I store my boat at my mom's house and she was kind enough to let me fillet it at her sink...pop's being an avid fisherman, she kept saying as it got messier, this isn't the first time we've had fish guts in here. I think it brought back alot of good memories, which she needs from time to time.

We had such a great time from launch to feast. We cooked her on the grill skin side down with an Olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, fresh lemon juice, fresh oregano, fresh chives, (all from the garden)parmesan baste and boy was it tasty. 2 bags in the freezer 2 bags distributed and dinner for three... She is going a long way.

Outstanding fish MrH!!! The pull of the line and the arc of the rod are addicting, no? Really good that you let the girl take line and played her right into your arms, and believe me, I get excited every time I catch any fish, doesn't matter what size or kind, I'm like a newbie every fish, especially at night, the unknown is so thrilling.

I'm always in the stones, in fact, I just bought a new 4 blade prop and will use my still brand new 3 blader for my spare and I always have my motor off while drifting and sometimes use the lower unit as a rudder depending on the drift, and when I know I'm in some danger zones, I tilt it all the way out of the water.

I am truly humbled by your acknowledgement of my stories, it is all I need for motivation since the writing about the experience is as close to reliving the event as I can get, however, I am glad you shared your pics since I always wish there were more af them as well as more stories, however, until the next fish, good eatin!
