As far as Lebanon and Hizbullah are conserned, ".308 Holes make Invisible Souls!" Binyamin Netanyahu said it best when it came to Lebanon. Should go in and knock everything down. Don't leave two stones touching together.

Only problem here is all the underground bunkers, tunnels, weapons factories and storage. Then when the impossible is done all the angry hornets from other Arab nations will fly back in.

Good health and family

What happens when conventional weapons are not able to achieve the desired destruction of these deep reinforced bunkers. We are probably as close to some kind of nuclear strike as we ever have been. Then what.

New ground based bunker weapons. Nuclear war? A not so Brave New World.... filled with even more horror and destruction.

Good health and family

The Nuclear Genie cannot be let out of the bottle under any circumstance unless in retaliation for a nuclear strike. The catastrophic potential is such that no nuke must be used.

Pop the doors open with the mother of all bunker busters and then send the Hercs in with the Mother Of All Bombs (my appologies in advance for the Herky drivers). Open the door and bounce the floor - whatever it takes.

Come up with whatever you need to do but keep the Nuclear Genie in the bottle. The ramifications their make the Pre-emptive Strike option look no more menacing then a Riley's Roast Beef Suicide at 3 am...
