Surf Hogs work so well the way they are...why mess up a good thing. I guess you could do it but there really is no need, by far the best new product ive used in a LOOOOONG time.

You'll more than likely, rip the rubber when you cinch down the skin to fasten it on there.

Exactly the problem I foresee, too. You have to get the head of the skin fairly tight for it to stay there. |

To skin the eel, first pick a tree out back, close to your least favorite neighbor. Drive nail through eel's head into tree. Use exacto knife to slit around the eel behind the head and then lengthwise down the belly. Grab the skin where sliced behind the head and pull down.... Results will vary, depending on the condition of your dead eel. My first attempts were less than spectacular and left a pretty gruesome scene on the tree.....Have fun!
