This was discussed on here a couple months ago. No fish oil in it but the oil could work as an attractant.

I keep a can on my boat and spray down my reels about once a day to keep em nice and smooth. I've never put it on a lure though.

not sure what kind of reels you have, but do you take the spools off as to not get any on the line?

No should I? I usually douse the whole thing in wd-40... I'm not the best when it comes to knowing how to take care of reels. Any tips are appriciated!
