Talking Im a new Member..

Hows it going out there fellow fishermen and women. This is my first official post at this website and hopefully many many more to come. I came across this site through Surfcaster.com and decided what the hell.... I saw some nice fish great sunset pictures and thought to myself... these are my kind of people

Well here it is. I am a devoted and forever a fisherman. I have fished the MA coastline for about 5 years now and dont mind if I get skunked, I just love being on the ocean and I love the salt air the sunrises, the sunsets, the dunes.. you name it.. I pretty much spent alot of time on the cape so I am pretty knowledgable on where to fish and when to fish down there. I fish alot at Plum Island and Deer Island along with a bridge in Winthrop. I hope to make many fishing buddies in here seeing my partner in crime started football camp this week and I am stuck going solo. Well Just saying hi and here I go starting to post

I ated the Red Berries,,,
oooohhh it tastes all burny....

Welcome aboard frayedspool and FISHIN' TECHNICIAN I think you will find us a very fun bunch to talk and fish with. I have only been around since Jan. but have made some Great new friends here and have had some good times fishing with these guys and gals. If you get a chance be sure and come to the next Mass. and R.I. derbys and meet everyone face to face and have some good food and good fishing even if we don't seem to catch all that many fish during these derbys. John why is that???? Again welcome from GBOUTDOORS.

Welcome aboard guys. As GB said there are alot of people here who are fun to talk to, and fish with. If you can make it to a Four legger you will have fun.

Four Legger

At the risk of sounding foolish...what exactly is a four legger? The only "four leggers" I know, I chase during archery season.

We have four tournaments, 2 in Mass, 2 in Rhodie. We call it a four leg contest, hence the name four legger. Although I would much rather be chasing the one you mentioned myself.

Welcome to S-B gents... Beware, several older members have been known to lift items of pluggage from unsuspecting newcomers - so beware

In regards to GB's reference about the lack of fish at the gatherings, we had decent conditions twice out of 6 times in 2 years now out of 6 times so far - and fish were caught at one of those so I don't know - Even Cuttyhunk gave us a hard east wind - I think it's Chris L . He didn't make the Cape leg last year that we got fish with the crabber (or at least he was 40 miles away )
