To be completely honest, the last two games were pitched well and the home team deserved to win but that is baseball...No matter what though,you have to admire the Yankees never die attitude even as a Sox fan.
To commemorate this rivalry, we were going to offer a "special, limited edition" surf bag with the "B" for Boston on it (as a gesture of good will from a NY company to all fishing Bostonians) but the Sox front office shot it down as they said they couldn't find enough "plugs" to put into all the holes
and because the bag was going to be black, it reminded them too much of the "evil empire"
Just couldn't help myself....hey you never know, you might come in to "the house that Ruth built" later this summer and sweep 4 from us and we'll all be knotted up again
