That is what I thought. Probably just misunderstood him . P.

I know of someone who caught 12, bones, from shore in Chatham last week. They just came in for a hour or so in the afternoon and were gone but he said non stop action till they left.

The Hammer, 1oz when possible go up in size when the wind blows.
Best in my opinion.

It's weird, bones have a rep of being sketchy about both line and what you offer them but I always find bones to be simply ruthless predators most days. They were this year. One of the best runs of them I can remember as well.

We've had clients catch them on both 9" spooks and the big 3.5 ounce Gibbs Pencil this year. And they were tiny bones, maybe 4 pounds.

I find topwaters deadly on them. TT is right on, don't be afraid to throw a curve ball. Real tuna are into the Mag Darter too.
