Large is always good, but, not the top priority.. large numbers of small fish is cool too.. sometimes more fun.. blues.. small doses, once a year... Thank you.
What Stage am I at Steve?.. most times I'm just glad to be out there.. have had nights (more each year) with nothing.. used to really rile me.. now it doesn't matter.. I love the night sky, the dusk, the false dawn, the sunrise.. the solitude.. or companionship, depending if I'm alone or not.. always try to learn something, every time I go..
this year.. one thing I have noticed.. empty beaches.. lack of fish?, high gas prices?..seals, mung, etc? who knows
.. even non ORV beaches.... even weekend nights... the herd has thinned, not that I am complaining.. tells me too, that when the word is that the action is hot, the crowds come, not so hot.. they stay away...I digress..
the fish are a plus, Yes, by all means.. just to be there.. and enjoy.. lack of action, no longer destroys me
Seals it what pisses me off these days.
but.. "Large"
