Supposedly there is a strain of Bluefish that get up to 35 to 40 pounds off the West Coast of Africa. I cannot imagine what they pull like.
I caught a 19.7 lb blue a long time ago. Probably 1984 or 1985 and to this day it fought harder than any Bass I have ever caught.
