There are major opportunities for young attractive women with outdoor skills and television personality & looks.....
Take note of the magazine covers with women on the cover and then contrast that with the number of women in the field - way disproportinate representation on the newstands.

Hot gals on fishing television
Yeah, hot chicks always sell better on television and magazine covers, especially niche market segments such as fishing -- look at NESN, they now have a couple of hotties broadcasting sports ... not because they are better at it than most other male broadcasters out there ... because the management at NESN probably feels that they can draw more attention from drunken, beer swilling men watching the tube ... same things goes for fishing shows. Fly fishing the world did it years ago with Heather Thomas in a bikini and hip waders showing her rear-end while trout fishing in Montana - couldn't have been more lame for fishing, but one of the best episodes I ever watched.

At least she's the real deal.
She knows how to hunt and fish and has a true love for each sport.
She's also a lot of fun...I spent some time with her in Alaska and Costa Rica. The first time I saw her she was wearing her trademark cowgirl hat, hip waders, and fly vest. She was a far cry from the grizzly old sports that were fishing the Alaska Sportsman's Lodge at the time.
Maybe she should fish the NE surf for stripers and then bag a moose in ME...can't be any less exciting than shooting a hippo.

i was watching one show where she was fishing for peacock bass in the amazon and lost all her flies. so she cut off a piece of her sandal and a clump of hair and made a new fly(popper) and continued to slam em on her homemade concoction. i was impressed and turned on all at the same time
