The oral surgeon will more than likely give you a shot of novacaine before he even considers pulling those choppers out, but yes you probably will hear the noises you are describing when he pulls the teeth. By todays standards it's as easy and fast as getting a coffee at Dunkin' Donuts.

I had mine done all at once and there was no pain from the removal of teeth but my jaw was a little sore later on but Advil took care of that pretty fast. The worst part was I had to rinse with salt water to close up the holes left in the gums (salt water speeds up the process of filling in the void where the teeth were). Of course I rinsed with something else later .

If you're willing to go without meds afterwards then you will be able to get through this no problem! Ever jamb a hook in your finger , that hurts more than extraction.
