Just got back and it was an epic blitz. Bluefish and BIG stripers in an all-out washing machine-surface frenzy. Peanut bunker committing suicide at my feet and some HUGE fanning striper tails coming shark-like outta the water. The blues were small compared to the bass and lets just say the blues were in the 6-9 pound range. Was throwing everything at them and into them and contrary to popular theory, they were not fixated on the peanuts and were hitting swimming and popping lures. My biggest was 37" and 20 pounds. The guy next to me lost a much bigger fish because he got impatient and did not let the wave ride the exhausted fish in. Pulled too hard in the mung and pop. Guy jumped in after it but could not recover it. Quite a scene. Hoping for at least a 30-pounder tomorrow.

I busted it today makin sure I could have a early day tom. so I can do a few days in a row.somewhere up north.
Plus i needed the extra money cause I just dropped the truck off at the shop to have breakwork done.
My mechanic is very good.
An very expensive..
I don't expect my pain to go away any time soon.
