In the fall sometimes a rigged rubber eel out performs the reel eel on a squid. One of my friends did not believe in the scent an we where killin em.finally he succumbed an put some on an started to hook up.if there was ever a case of scent convincing. That instance sure was a good one.
I don't like to get crazy with the stuff.it does make a mess out of things.TimS smears it on everything.I think if ur a smoker it's good to keep the smell of tabacco off ur stuff, I especially like scents on rubber. In the current i really don't use em, but in the surf definitely.
I been doing the bunker oil in a spray bottle since I read Stevie does it.It's not as much mess that way..
I figure if it helps me catch one more fish its worth it.It could be the fish that makes u stay a while longer that leads to a better fish.
I have heard lots of good things about the Seabait stuff i got to get me some.I know Flap likes it.

FORE!
It's usually darkest just before it turns Black..
