I'm glad you caught a decent fish on light line. Years ago the same fish probably would have broken 15# test line.
I thought she was a little light for a fall fish but as has been discussed here many times, fish of that size can vary greatly in weight, really just depends on what it recently ate. I disagree about the light line thing as it all depends on how well you can play the fish. With enough line spooled up and the ability to rock-hop a bit, someone could land a much bigger fish. IMHO
