SB.com has an AWESOME logo, A great looking striper with the American flag in the backround, with Striped-Bass.com underneath the fish. Its perfect in my opinion. If you're gonne have a shirt and call it the official SB.com shirt, how can we not have the logo on the shirt? I think we overlooked the obvious and tried to get to flashy.

Everyone loves the SB.com logo already, yet when it comes time to print shirts, it totally gets overlooked. Johns design is fanstasic, but that would be a great shirt to make up for the Plugfest or something like that, not as the official shirt of the sight.

This sites logo is fantastic! Lets print that bad boy on a shirt and be proud of this site! After all, everyone who is a member or people who browse this site frequently, will instantly recognize this site's great logo on a shirt! They will see this sight, and the logo on the shirt, and put two and two together.

Seems kinda obvious to me! But i dont have any say in this, just giving my .02

Its nice and simple and this IS what i think of when i think of this site! A good sized image of this on the back, and maybe a smaller image ont he breast on the front. Its perfect! Ok i'm being annoying i know, but i just cant understand how this would not make a kick ass shirt?! I think of this before i think of Plugs and Plug Builders.

I agree // when you first look at it --like you said it looks kinda like a concert shirt //

no offerce sponosors [sp]

but the way it is now it looks like there was a plug fiast & you could get a shirt at it ;;

gotta be the shade of blue [[[ & its gotta have the S/ B logo =============== that is what site we are on & that what we are proud of //nothing againt the plug site ,But that shirt looks like a plug site shirt ;;;

no problem //being the shipper //at least the members will get them while they are alive .,.,.,

ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE !!!

I'm sorry John
But if the shirts are printed as is, I'll pass on them !
This is typical of stuff on this site,
Boat fish don't count, only fish caught on wood plugs count, commercial fishing is bad, yo yoing is wrong, ect.........
I'm not going knock plug building as I like plugs as much as the next guy, but if you're going to do a SITE shirt, it needs to incorporate a bit of every thing the site represents, the flag logo included (paid sponsors also)
Not a just plug building !

Whatever design you make i will take 4. Sure we all have opinions on what the shirt should look like, i for 1 will take whatever you decide on. Whatever it looks like we will all know it represents S-B. We dont need a logo to spell it out for us.

Everything is better on the rocks.

Those Raiders fans sure do cry when things don't go their way!

I know one or two boat guys that fish plugs!

How about a pic of plugs on the back and a guy wire line jigging on the front?

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

im kinda with RR on this one in that it ,looks like a dedication to the great plug builders on this site. (which is fine if thats what you want).

I may have missed it but this is a s-b shirt, not a thank you to the sponsers/plug builders shirt right?

I will buy 1 or 2 to support s-b. but it doesnt look like the SHIRT is supporting s-b.

i'd personally like something that isnt so "loud". If the majority of people on here use the sponser plugs than you will probably do real well with the shirt. I suspect the farther north you go, the interest will drop off a bit.

Alot of times great statments are made with the simplest of designs. look at apple... white on white with and apple and chunk bitten out. I personally am not a fan of apple but you know the logo. linux have a dopey looking penguin. not everyone knows what it is but if you are in the industry you do. Same can apply here I imagine...

Not trying to step on creative toes... and, after 200 hrs of work put in, im sure its hard not to take constructive criticism personally.

Great plug shirt though! Whats the front look like?

Put the S-B logo with the flag on the front and keep the back as is. It looks great John. I am sure it took some effort. I will take a few as well. Start a pre-order to cover some of the expenses.

If the design is really that complex it had better cost a mint or it's not going to look good!

Its def a shirt for the Sponsers, the first thing you notice about the shirt is the sponsers, i had to look hard to see the Striped-bass.com on it! Let the sponsers put out thier own shirts, and let the site have a shirt thats just for SB.com. To over the top, i'd walk around feeling like a freakin car at a Nascar race with all the damn sponsers and adds posted on my back!!

This shirt shouldnt be dedicated to one group or a few sponsers, it should be a shirt that includes ALL Sb.com members and isnt a walking advertisment for Sponsers and Plug builders. The Striper/American flag is simple, yet classy, and includes ALL Striped-Bass.com members. And its our offical logo after all!! And is focused on the site ONLY and not Sponsers.

I'm with RR on this, as much as i like the she current design on the shirt, its to over the top for me to actually wear.

And the fact that Skitterpop and I actaully agree on this, should tell you something is seriosly wrong with the concept of the shirt!

Sorry but no thanks do not like it. Seems to be a ad for plugs not SB.com I know they put up money but so have many others here year after year and they do not ask to have a shirt for it. I may be getting old and cranky but I am disappointed in the design

And that is the whole thing. One simply cannot please ALL groups on this site. I figured that if I went with something above and beyond the norm that it would overcome this. I figured if S-B had a shirt that was different then just slapping a logo and a phrase - which everyone else does - would be more universaly accepted - apparently I was wrong.

At this point I'm ready to %$%$%$%$ can the whole shirt thing. I'll keep this up for a few days before deciding if this is worth doing or not.

As for the sponsors helping by sending some dough to help produce this shirt - is that the problem? It makes it too "Commercialized"?

john,
the shirt looks like this is STRICKly a plug building website, not a striped bass website

plain logo.....classy.....gives the website free advertisment

just my opinion

if it was a plug building website, that shirt would be great

I read this post this morning and didnt respond, I felt lousy being critical since John does SO much work to keep this thing running. Like many, I'm not crazy about the design, too busy and it is too plug-centric.
I would love a shirt with just a logo, plain and simple.

making s-b.com a kinder, gentler place for all

John--I like it and I'd take at least one, maybe two.

It's a friggin' T-shirt, fer crissakes. I'm not gonna wear it to the Coonamesset Inn or to court.
