Camplainers?? I think not, it's called input! We have expressed our opinion about a shirt that does not represent this site. Its a shirt for plug builders and not a shirt for this site, it's that simple. And we were basiclly asked what we thought, so we speak up and tell what we think and now we are all a bunch of complainers? Un freakin' real.
If you dont want input dont ask. If you ask for input, then input you will get. There has been alot of good suggestions about shirt design in this thread. And that is called good input!

If its a dead issue then its a dead issue.
I thank you John for trying!! But with a site this big, your going to end up with all different opions!!
You might be better off having a meeting with the Moderators and disscuss what you want, between the higer ups you should come up with something nice, then just sell them!
I am by no way a artist or even a good photoshop guy!! But something like this mite just be the ticket??
It shows the striper, the plug, and Amercian theme.
Or something like The red whit blue bass on the main site on back with the S-B logo on the pocket??

I have a t-shirt that has about 25 freshwater lures on the back. The front of the shirt has a multi-color/multi-font size phrase that states "Life is Full of Important Choices"
People would read the front and say the same what is written. When they see the back all the lures are there with the same phrase in larger print dead center.
I still would have liked a person size striper dressed in waders and korkers on the rocks with a bent rod. (Like reverse roles)
Whatever you do is fine, I'll order at least one.

I may have read JohnR's original post wrong, but I don't see where he asked for opinions.
He just asked if we'd buy it or not.
Obviously, if you don't like it, you're not going to buy it = No and that's OK cause that's what he was askin'
If you like it, you're probably going to buy it = YES
Pretty simple
JohnR had an idea in mind and "fessed up to the bar" and did somethin' about it. After several missteps to offer other shirts and hats, etc. it would be a shame to have this venture go down in flames also.
If this t-shirt venture were to fly, maybe there would be other t-shirts available. Maybe a S-B Tourney Leg 2006, 2007, etc. or S-B shirts.
Ya gotta start somewhere. Let's start by supporting "the man"

Just do it!
Thanks for making the effort. You can't please everyone but will sell a bunch. You can always run another design in a year or three. Thanks for busting your a$$ to support a great site.

I would have tossed some art/suggestions your way but I'm afraid they'd all be too explicit, remember..I'm the one who wants an R-rated site .......I think it's pretty cool though. I'd actually like the design on the front so I can see it while I'm wearing it......I hate carrying around 2 mirrors... Make one especially for me like that...and I'll buy it.
Seriously though, stick to your plan - I think the majority of members would buy one. Take pre-orders and see if it fills up. If it does fine........if not....

JBird,
These things for sale or what.
Too much reading; feel like I'm back in college.
I can see this much discussion if we were all buying SB.com three-piece-suits, but for a shirt?
I'm sure I probably just said something that offended somebody there so I will conclude with a very nice goodbye.
I love you all!

Please attempt to be more consise as to why/how the shirt does not represent the site. Thanks.
I think one or more of you "inputers" have a bone for the owners of the plug companies who's logo's are shown.

It IS a good thing! I'll buy one and like NIB says, I'll probably spill coffee all over it. I always do.... Oh yeah, keep the sponsors. I pretty sure that they are a major reason that we all get to play here, give'em credit. You too, JohnR! Thanks!

Go read what myself and others have posted, and you shall find why we believe it doesnt represent the entire site.
I've said it's a cool shirt, just not one that totally represents the site.
Just print the damn shirts and be done with it!
