I moved to the Cape 5+ years ago...My wife sold me on the move (even before I even put eyes on the house) by telling me there are woods near the house to go hunting and we will be 8 miles from the canal....So, its her fault....Am I in denial...Oh well, I think I will go fishing..

Addiction - golf doesn't even compare. It is a world unto itself and one that many outside would never understand. It gets even down to even more minor detail and those who experience can only know ... I once knew a guy who had to get new brakes for his car, but decided to use the money to go fishing in Alaska ... his car wound up rotting where it stood.

I too was caught up in the irony of that movie. I saw it the first weekend it came out- as a fist date with my current girlfreind- a year after splitting with my ex-wife! So yes, I related to it in EVERY way, including the break-up. Watched it again recently with my very understanding girlfreind and we both laughed a lot now that she realizes my addiction and its severity! But she still loves me!
