Sluggoslinger: this is a great idea, BUT if you are going to get JohnR the Zeebaas, we should "buy" the one from Surflawyer (he is offering it for $1000 - see post #24 on this thread above). Keep in mind we would be helping him out as well.

Surflawyer's reel comes with TWO spools where the std kit has ONE spool. The reel direct from then is a "savings" of $26.00 and JohnR would get two spools and a low serial number as well !

I agree with Ray. I didn't realize you edited the lead post with an offer from Zeebass.
Maybe we should stick with the original plan, and maybe surflawyer could drop his price a bit and we'll get the reel and the spare spool from him like what was the original thought.
