Get the same feeling sometimes when I smack them on a rock to slow em down. On the cape beaches there are no rocks so I have to smack them on my knee. I would hate to be an eel. But I always redeem myself at the end of the season when I "Release the eels" whatever I have left go back to the sea at that time. I guess surf fishermen have feelings too - until I feel a cow uncork on one - usually knocks me back to my senses.

I get the same feeling when cutting green crabs in half.

One time an eel slipped out of my bag and was lost.

I'm pretty sure the little sucker knew my ATM pin number.

To this day I always go over my bank statement twice...just to be sure.

There's nothing like a little spliff and a nice fish to boot.
