I hit a blitz at the canal last night...

granted they were all 14" schoolies.. but it was fun...

They were killing bait 3' offshore.... tiny yozuri minnow ftw!

If you were anywhere near the east end, some of those breaking fish you might have noticed were dogfish doing their spawning ritual dance, from a lot of the reports I've seen. I wonder if that's what I felt bumping my Tsunami shad but not taking it

Are you serious? I was at the East end until 5pm and it was nuts. Nothing big, but all the schoolie bass you could handle. There was bait everywhere...a fair amount of bird activity and blitzes popping up all over the place...... blues mixed in as well.

(not trying to start a riot or anything...these were all school bass, but fun nonetheless)
