maybe I should finish the 6 plugs I started.

There is a fine line that seperates a fisherman from a fool standing in water swinging a stick.

will cook for food
...and plugs

rotation

I'm from a fly tying/fishing background, so I see the 100 or so plugs I have as match the hatch options ...small/big/ action/pattern swimming ontop , sub/ darter/ pickie/... BUT only from certain makers...I let go certain ones but seem attached to beachmasters, habs, mac, gary2,etc...wont touch gibbs, I used to until i discovered quality!.....I deliberately rotate the lures from.. day/morn & eve/ whats bait for the day to night patterns ...always trying to go through them all ! I slowed down now and dont think ill get anymore

I successfully moved into a single row plug bag this year. I always felt like I didn't have what I needed at first but these days I just swap a few plugs out depending on location, weather conditions, bait in the water, etc. Most of what I carry in the bag is the same from the start of the season right to end.

I decorated my Xmas tree with I'm guessing about $3k of custom wood last year that I never use.
Most of it was given to me or won in fundraisers.
Gave like $600 to DadBomba this summer, hopefully he doesn't feed them all to the bluez in Jersey.
OK gotta go to bed, gotta be back at work in eight hours.
Later,
Rick

Yup... 3 plugs, some rubber and live or rigged eels and I havent been wanting for more gear much this season... I use my double row bag just to trade out plugs based on spot and light conditions...
