These were not near shore, however some sources report that there have been busting stripers within reach at the pt. allerton area.
I am not familiar with the shore scence from there, but I would think it should be easy enough to get to some hot spots.

There is still plenty of time, I would think with the massive amounts of blues around, some should come in close (like the old days), you know what I mean.

Mike: Stellar day is an understatement.
Tom went nuts today he had such a blast.
We had many doubles of bass and blues.
Fish were following their hooked friends right to the boat only to get hooked themselves by a waiting angler. .

It was a great day but we didn't beat that bass you scored..
