Dealer said "weird" but bring it in. Actually, I found out my wife was observing the driver on the reverse/drive situation. My daughter was in the driver's seat. I think they both observed it was in drive by the shift indicator, not sure about the front display. After she went from park to drive twice and it went backwards my daughter said it was too freaky, turned the car off and switched to the passenger seat. When my wife started the car again it worked fine. She had a 1994 Pathfinder before this one and it was a tough reliable vehicle, but I think they lowered their standards of late, this one is tinny sounding when you close the trunk or doors, I never liked it but you can't argue with the Mrs. when she makes her mind up.

the wife is the problem, vehicle is fine.
Does she hear voices? Maybe the the car is posessed.
