Hi all,
Normally in my "other life" I would only run for a cold beer or a fine looking woman . Now that I fish again, I feel the need to run to bustin bass ! Gilligan (formerly known as Prince -- oops - MS5712!) - the reason I was running - was to beat you and the other boat to the fish -- to get a cast in before you came to close and spooked out the fish ! Note: - 75-100 ft. from shore in shallow water with 2 engines running = bye-bye fish!!
No big deal - just part of your learning curve, (i've done it myself) I had been fishing there for 4 hours chasin those schoolies around with only one hookup (22"). Frustrating - they were there the whole time and then some !!
They're getting their fill of peanut bunker and are very picky.
I have plans to head out in the boat tomorrow with a friend. Probably be out around 10am to maybe 5 or 6 we'll see how that goes.
Take care, good luck, and have fun!
Beetle
