weird SanDiego tides

I am in SanDiego till Friday and was wondering what time sunset is so I spun up WTIDES to look at SanDiego.
this is the weirdest tide I have seen.
it is cyclical with the moon the once a cycle there is a day missing a tide.

freaky.

There is a fine line that seperates a fisherman from a fool standing in water swinging a stick.

Not related to your thread but I was offered a job in San Diego doing pipe fitting on a ship. I had to turn it down

Arrow when in sandiego

you go down to the cliffs in ocean beach....
theres a huge pier there and to the south of it...

there's endless cliffs that are say 10 feet above the water and higher you can walk on or fish from.

Cool

beautiful stony beaches, though.

think south county without boulders, but with tons of smooth egg-sized (and larger) stones.

very fishy habitat!

l.a. beaches, however, suck (and you're not allowed to fish on a lot of them).
