Still some decent fish on the N. Shore but its spotty and they definately seam to be moving (coming in waves), as there were last year at this time. Got into a nice group last night with luds48 but once the wind picked up in became pretty much impossible to fish eels how they wanted 'em. Luds did manage a 14" fish on a 9" needle in the wind though.

I really don't think that they're here longer than last year or the year before, just more people posting that they're here and therefore more people fishing later in the year and thus more fish caught, or maybe their just in more obvious (high profile) spots. I know where they were last year (and they were large) and word never really got out. Larger and larger amounts of fisherman fishing later in the season seam to be a trend the last few years and I think the web has alot to do with it (and I admit that it has definatly effected my fishing also, not throwing stones here). Caught fish in the snow on the N. Shore last year and I heard of schoolie blitzes in December up here so shoolie blitzes this time of year are nothing new. There was also a 50 caught up here on Halloween last season. Just a matter of how many skunkings your willing to take to get a quick shot at some fish once in a while. And who really knows what goes on out there once everyone does call it quits.

Remember where we met up with you last year? That was Nov 11 and the large girls were there but not in any numbers.

No boat, back in the suds.

i'm done for the year but not because i want to, my knee just won't allow it. i'm bumming but not too bad, i only fished from mid aug thru late Oct. and i caught a bunch of fish mostly on plugs. never broke 30 pounds this year tho which was kinda disappointing. oh well, there's always next season
