Ross you are lucky. I wish I could get up there. For a reel in that price range I recommend the Mitchell Nautil 6500Gv pro. It is a bout 135 bucks, water and sand proof. If you make the cape leg Mike sells them, but I would call first to make sure he has some left. It comes with 3 spools, and a bag for the reel, and small zippered bag for the spare spools.
