chuckem....because the health ramifications from mold have been severely underated by the medical profession until only recently.

inhaling almost invisable mold spores can create all kinds of health problems for the wearer.

when you buy new ones however....
i was thinking that they could be sprayed with a fabric sealer to prevent mold growth in the future.

I've got some brand new ones you can have if you want.
Can't have these ones on my boat as I am required to have all cat 1 type.

mold and mildew.... and certain kinds of mold
have been found to cause some really really
bad health
conditions....

i had a couple of problem areas....due to inadequate
ventilation... and i recently bought some TILEX
at wally world...and man does that stuff kick butt.

it vanished... so fast....it was amazing.... so the time to
use it is during the off season because it's really strong.

make sure to do a quick spray while holding your
breath, otherwize use a mask and cover your eyes too.

Good point, but extra jigs sure aint as important as PFD's
put them in a storage bag, cover them with talc (baby powder fights the moisture) and DONT store them in plastic

We've used TCP on our Type I's w/ the tourboat a few times. works well.
