my house is in an association with about 30 others. there were only 2 with shallow wells. mine and my neighbors. he just bought his house too and had to do the same thing. he's actually putting in a new septic too. i haven't met him yet, i guess he comes by for a few hours a week and does some work to the house but i am always at work so i keep missing him.

My h2o is harder than a rock. I also have a shallow well. Have wanted to put a new well in for 10 years but too rich for my blood right now. Neighbor just put one in. 550' deep.
