That hook might go good in a bullet or a ball jig.I like ball jigs in lighter weights 3/8-1oz.they push lots of water an are very underrated for finesse jigging.

GF those are the newer version.i like the andrus better.no discernible difference really. i just like the guy that makes em.Andrus makes the best jigs u can buy for striper's hands down..

Here is what I always thought of as the canal jig. Just a little different than ones GF posted. Also NIB what do you think about the Barracuda jig. Stan K. told me they used to use these a lot back in the day. Thought about making a mold for them a few years back but never got around to it. Sorry for the Hijack eben.

I like stans jig the eyelet is back one might think it digs nose down but it is long so it probably balance out.Normally when the eylelet is back they are better for vertical jiggin.i made a jig out of a upperman mold like kevin did.I like my mold.An I like the canal special like u have there.Paul can u make me that mold I wann do em wit bigger hooks like 8/0 9/0.4,4.5 5 5.5..I would pay..
