Hardly any action up here - not worth the cold anymore! Everything got stored over the weekend.

Talking

I'll be at it for awhile.... The missus got her first keeper yesterday she was pretty psyched. She lipped it and handled her own fish and everything, she was pretty psyched. Fat little thing it was, we had action for a little over 3 hours micros, shad and keeper sized bass mixed in, they were chasing peanuts. I'd say the line of peanuts was about a half mile long, and they were about 12-15 feet off the sand. Ended up being a pretty cool sunday drive. They were feeding subsurface most of the time, but the purple blob of bait was unmistakable. The funny part was following them down the beach and watching guys pack up their stuff, as we made our way towards them. Candi Bobby and I had the fish to ourselves, at one point one guy drove up, and I signaled for him to stop and I pointed to the drop off, and he was throwing some bigger stuff, he switched to a small shad and started getting bass, and shad. All in all not a bad day for the end of November.

I got to hear about how easy it was all the way home.. And how oh I think I need my own rod, like this one 1201m but I want electric blue thread.. and you thin They'll be there next weekend.. and how do I fillet it... and you think we can try again next weekend.. and ohhh I gotta call my dad (big hunter) and tell him he'll be psyched.. I think I broke her...

Domination takes full concentration..

Hey, Dennis (& all you guys!)...

Who would've guessed that our week at Block was "early" in my Fall run!

Since... I had 75 Bluefish to 15 lbs. at M. last week of Nov., & 10 Bass to 13 lbs....

Then, this week (Tues through yesterday/ Thurs.) I had 15 Bass up to 28.5 lbs. (on Graves Tin)... 6 Blues up to 14 lbs... and lost a really big Bass that only escaped my eventual C & R by straightening out a 4x 3/0 VMC Treble (attached to the middle section of a BM 3 oz. A- 40! ) Li.I has been hot since late Nov. with Herring-- & big Pogys-- in the Surf at times. And yes, I've been missing sleep to meet them!

I keep telling my GF there's all Winter to rest & sleep-- or not!-- with her! She'll believe it, when she sees it!

Dennis & Bob, for sure I'll be in touch! Congrats again Bob for the new Job! And Dennis: hope that BM Needle I gave you got scuffed up by now w/ your late run too?

This thread was started over two weeks ago... hey, redcrbbr, what were you thinking? I'm fishing this week. Temperature in the 50s. Water temp 50 degrees. Sun's out, wind is going to drop some. Hmmmm ... I'll have to give this some serious thought....NOT. Never put ALL the rods away.
