more action from boat I'd say get the shimano's they're nice reels. Take the extra dough and get a charter or something for your old man for fathers day.

unless you're going to dunk it and do all sorts of nasty things with the reel you dont really need a vs. But hey its your dough and you're welcome to do with it as you please
