John I have worked in Pocasset for 20 years and the shop is right in line with the runway. I have seen some incredible stuff go in and out of there and at very low elevation, but nothing that low. After a while you don't even notice the sound anymore. Although when ever the Blue Angles appeared at Otis they would spend the Fri. before practicing for the weekend show and we would go out in the parking lot and get a private show. They have been so low I could see the pilot's head and loud holy crap. I was always in awe of those gigantic cargo trans port planes. Man when they come in for a landing and take off at such low elevation the scream of the engines makes you wonder why the engines just don't come apart and how the hell they get off the ground. I heard that Otis is going to be some kind of practicing facility for those unmanned drone things. Cool video. P
