Thanks for the imput, i think i will get one. It has the wrapper and dryer, and a bunch of other stuff. Im sure its going to be a bit of trial and error. Swimmer, i wish i lived closer to Kingston or any other place closer to the salt to take a lesson, my uncle took one at Rivers end in old saybrook and he learned a lot but it isnt possible so it will be reading manuals and checking posts for tips.

Everything is better on the rocks.

If you have any rods laying around your basement that are collecting dust, cut the old guides off and practice re-wrapping them.

Trial and error can be learned on rods you dont really care about. It will make your new rod that much sweeter when your done.
