Angry I HATE THE WIND!!!!!!!

Im sorry but i just need to vent....... I spent 3 hours trying to cast into the wind and when i did get it out there far enough, I had to deal with the sea grass that was churned up from the choppy surf And it totaly covered mt lure. A total waste of time, But it is still better than work............. I guess Now its time for me to get over it!!!! I just needed to get it off my chest! Sorry Its just a little agravating

I feel your pain. But don't hate the wind. Wind is OK it is the weed that is bad. If you are fishing nights, you will not need to cast that far into the wind. Walk up to the surf trough and nail one into the teeth of the wind. Bass like the turmoil that the wind and waves and current cause. Work the wind. If you are struggling, you might look for another spot where the wind is not directly in your face and you can quarter it a bit. If I find lots of weed...I leave and head to a different spot. IMO fishing in heavy weed is a waste of time. If it is light weed and you are stuck fishing this spot, switch to eels, (they tend to catch less weed the plugs with rows of hooks).

I know it is bass season when the line is "singing" during retrive due to a 20knot wind passing over the line.

IMO it is harder to catch big fish in calm water, you want some wind, current and waves.
