Patrick - while I agree with most of what you wrote (and may agree on the rest later anyway) WE need to hammer this out which is why we will get a few people together and go over it and then present it to the people on the site for them to make up their own mind. But we will go though the steps and do it right. Yes, something needs to be done.

There are a few other processes happening too which is some of the info I'm looking into as well...

You know, I don't get on my soapbox about issues but let's make some sense out of this. Here is an issue that really affects everyone of us, whether we fish the Cape, run the beaches, believe in off road driving, whatever.
I believe that there are some basic rights that a small group of people are trying to deprive the rest of us of. The environmentalist have their place and their ideas and I don't take that away from them but I believe we also should have some say in the issue.

The Environmentalist spend lots of money on legal issues just to block groups of folks like fishermen from having access. MBBA is a great organization to which I belonged while I was active in driving on the beach. I don't do it anymore so I am no longer a member but they are trying to do something here that makes sense to me so I support them. I think you guys should understand that if you don't help support these rights today ultimately it will be that you can't fish at all.

No boat, back in the suds.
