PLUGS.
O.K. here they are all primed ready to paint. all are hand carved.cut,eyes drilled out,sanded an primed in white. the TOP 3 are 1"x 5" the bottom 2 are 1" x 7' all are drilled an weighted. the fat one on the bottom is 1"1/4 x 5 as you can See there DOWELLS. as soon as I get them painted an some screw eyes w/ hooks on them Ill post them done an ready to fish for next season. got some BIG BOYS ready to prime up also BUT need bigger screw eyes. will have to weight till I get them to PAINT. well that it just some playing around w plugs. got to get back to TYING show are up an comming. need NEW stuff. enjoy. COMMENTS WELCOMED. GOOD,BAD,or INDIFFERENT.

For the effort you have put out You should take the time and thru wire the plugs. They look great - cannot wait to see therm dressed.

GONE-FISHIN,DON'T have the TOOLS to do so. it's a one time thing for me. wanted to try an see if I could do some by hand. got to get back to TYING FLYS.will paint up next week, nothing special, reg-can spray paint.

YES, the top 5. befor they were PRIMED they were around 1.5oz, when I get them painted an rigged Ill re-weight them again that wont be for couple of weeks.

was thinking that pencil popper looked good before you painted it ,, spooks too ... I see big popper and whats the slope head ? darter attemt ? You'll catch on that pencil I bet ,,. I see large pouncing on that just as the sun peeks above the horizon .. no dought,,, Belly hook may be back a tad much but alot of good spook types (ballerina) have the belly hook back like that .. go walk it ,,,let us know .

PLUG NO.3 hot of the rack ! I kind of like this one best. as you can see it's 5"long 1.1/4 wide,used a 3/4 molded eye. they say the EYES ATTRACT. this guy should get some attention. FAT BOY. weight is 2oz

plug no.4 think Ill add a belly hook! for thoes SHORT striks.gave them all a test swim this saturday. stoped at Cape Cod Tackle an picked up a TON of stuff,even some LIPS, this should be interesting. Im all set for the winter now. got another 6 drying now some BIG BOYS.

What wood are you using.

HAY STEELHEAD, the WOOD is PINE DOWELLS. QUESTION. when I use to go to N.Y.NOODLE-RODDING we used a LONG piece of solid LEAD 3/8th by 1.1/2 in a SLINKIEE. was woundering if you new where I could get the LEAD? as for the FLY ROD. just picked up another SAGE RPLXi.one never has to meany.

I get my lead from New Jersey Tackle or Mike at Cape Cod Tackle.
Also scrounge buck shot from friends who make their own shot gun loads.
