While I agree, I think keeping my log helped me to pay more attention to why the fish were there and helped me to be a better fisherman. I also agree it can make you have expectations for there to be fish in a spot just because of your log.
Kind of like why you go to that spot on the south side every year paul, hoping for history to repeat itself
