I wonder how much it weighs 250 -300 - 350? Lots of bacon there. When I purchased my home in 57 there was a pig farm close by. every now & then the sow would get free and root my lawn up. The owner would come after I called and he carried a 2x4 about 4 feet long and would swat the sow in the butt to get it moving. It didn't even seem to bother the pig. It must have taken a mighty strong person or crew to hang that pig!

Yeah, that's a huge hog. They said it weighed in around 1100 lbs.
In November I went down to southern Texas with my bro-in-law to hunt them. Saw hundreds of them. They have three litters a year and there can be 8-10 in a litter. So a lot of the pigs we saw were small, but the bigger ones would come through too. The one in the pic went 160#'s. Let's just say I have plenty of pig in the freezer for awhile. And yes it is very good when marinated and cooked properly.
