Give one good reason
How will the Pats win? Seems like most of the experts are picking the Chargers, and I can see why. I think Bill will pull a page out of the 2001 season, when they faced teams that he knew had the edge he had trick plays at opportune times in the game, I see this happening and catching the Chargers off gaurd.

Shut Down LT and they will win....easier said than done I know...but not impossible.
We have the #2 Defense in the league for points allowed. #5 Against the Run.
Anything can Happen.......just ask Tony Romo

Put the game in Rivers' hands, and don't turn the ball over. Very simple. Maybe Rivers will rise to the occasion, but if you let the Chargers play ball control, you will lose, plain and simple.
It worked with Rothy two years ago.

Gates goes what, 265? I don't think the Pats DBs are really going to put a hurting on him.

A lot of people are comparing this game to the Rams game in the 2001/2002 Super Bowl. I see a different comparison - the AFC championship game against the Steelers in 2005.
Pats going on the road against the No. 1 seed in the conference, a team with a gaudy regular season record (15-1) that was widely considered to be the best team in the NFL that year. Pats lost convicingly in the last meeting between the two teams. Other team's D features aggressive linebackers (Farrior, Foote, Porter), has a powerful running game (Bettis/Parker), led by a rookie quarterback who had a good year (Rothlisberger) and a coach (Cowher) with a good regular season career record, but a disappointing postseason record (up to that point).
Final score: Pats 41, Steelers 27.
