A few to liven it up. The strange one is an upsized knockoff of a Pfluger plug called a Tantrum minnow. Didn't get it right and haven't swum it yet, but what the hell, always fun to try something new.

You may not think it is right, but if you finished it you have a good idea it will swim OK.
You seem to have the bottle down perfect. The angle on the mouth is real good. We have to get together at plugfest for a couple of minutes so that I can learn your secret. Did you use a dremel to get the proper angle?

It was a nasty day, but I couldn't wipe the persimmon eatin' smile off my face as we bailed fish. Good day.

Cool stuff. Very simple but subtle at the same time. Darter planes top and bottom, tapered body with big head to get some sway, bucktail for a jointed effect. Do you weight them so they sink close to level, slightly tail down? Looks like you might be onto something good there.

Ok ... this is like my second batch of handcarves .. I like doing it ,, my compulsive behavior mode slides into hobbiest.. I don't care about making a bunch of plugs .. Stuff I'm posting is stuff I want to fish next year.. I've been admiring Gary2's stuff since day 1 and Numbskull gave us a lesson .. I ran with it .. I'm knocking off plastic and some G2's not ready yet . This is Cordells Big-O ,,, Gary2 also inspired by this plug .. bottom one is real deal .

Yeah, there is some resemblance, but the source I have says it was an upsized version of their Poprite minnow. I've only seen pictures, but it looks to me like they may have used a Ballerina body. Should have more taper to the body and the slope on the head is supposed to have a concave shape as well as the lip. I bet it will tend to roll out, but we'll see.
