Ya,that 40 Ford coupe, $80,000, i think i saw Karl in the audience bidding on it.
The 67 Vette, $70,000, i think that was Clammer's original tow car.

Not on that one JPI.. I won the one I bid on tho!.. not 80K.. but more in my price range.. like 8 bucks  .. as ya can see it's been heavily modified.. notice the pick up bed molded into the trunk  ....
it's a worker for sure.. as in.. gonna need a lotta work!

actually Don, that one is a 37, with a small pick up bed wellded into what uses to be the trunk (prolly a WW2 era conversion, when the ban on new cars was in effect).. the long sloped trunk lid is gone, and a lot of welding took place back there.. someone will buy it, and convert it back to a coupe, I am sure.. I was surfing around the coupe sites this weekend, you can get all kinds of sheetmetal for the old Fords of the 30's and 40's.. even floor pans and deck lids!
