Anybody see OTW Fishing New England?

Yesterday morning? They did Nomans Island off the Vineyard, as I was watching that, I had notions of illegally surfcasting it! But of course, I never would do such a thing.
it was a very cool show and great job to Mike Laptew on the underwater shots!

Yup, brand new show. They must be using better filming equipent because everything looked clean/crisp. Hooper started a thread regarding this topic a little while ago and this episode reminded me. I'd love to get out there and try some eel slinging myself.

Surfcasting on Noman's is illegal. There is still unexploded ordinance there and it is now a USFWS Wildlife Sanctuary for migrating birds ( there are no mammals except Voles there).

Nice thought but stick to casting from a boat.

Why even try.........
