TDF, try pieces of shiny poster paper or better yet cut up pieces of credit cards. Just remove them when it gets sticky.

I clear coat after I rig. I like the fact that the goop gets in the slot and holds things together all the more solidly and adds a smidge more water intrusion protection. A little finesse with the acid brush and they don't look too bad, after all they are just fishing lures.

Why even try.........
