Hey Flap, how do you like this boat? http://boatplans-online.com/studyplans/FS14_study.htm
I wish these new plans were out when I built mine. Maybe I should build another boat and sell the 11 footer
more beam, more length and still planes with the 9.9

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Jonny C a little sand paper elbow grease and some rustoleum paint and you will be in good shape. Most transoms are either 15" or 20" for a short or long shaft outboard.

Johnny, mine had little tress growing in it from stting from 1989 to March 2003 without a cover. Seats were rotted etc.
Took a month and a half of work believe it or not to put her back together. New seats with new supports and I put a deck in. I was going to just junk her but she has history and they don't build 'em like that anymore. Rivets on her are an inch on center and none were compromised. I had a few leaks but Marine Tex fixed that. I had her completely stripped all fittings, plates braces and all. I evem built the new aluminum capping on the transom. Sanded down the hull inside and out to get better adhesion on new paint.
I used Rustoleum Aluminum primer for the interior and Krylon Camo for the exterior. I totally fell in love with her again. It's a fish magnet.
Good luck, you have a great hull to start with. Cannot wait to see her finished.
