I drive all my fish to the local tackle shops and get my picture taken with them, then call the fisherman and let them in on my catch. After that they go in the garden for fertilizer

I keep most of my keepers. The ones that get released are the fish in the 30# and up class. I fish to fill my freezer. Stripers, fluke, clams-whatever. It is MY choice. Period.

I mostly throw them back, I have to drive at least three hours to fish and if I'm cleaning fish and dealing with them it means I ain't fishing. I keep them if it's close to quittin time and a short walk to my car, but I won't deal with a fish all night long when I walked a mile to fish a spot.

I only keep a few as well, but I like to release the rest so that the seals are well fed

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

I voted for one or two, which was true this year (two), but usually its a couple more (but still not 75% of the catch)
My wife and girls dont like fish, but my parents do, so that is usually where they go.

Bob, ...ya gotta keep the women in your life happy!...
Next thing you know you C & R guys will start hunting deer with paint ball guns...just wanting to know if you would have hit it...
Seriously, to each his own as long as it's within the law.
Like I stated earlier, I LOVE to eat fish. I was raised on fish. No sob story here but my parents were immigrants and anything that could save money got done. I started fishing reel early in life and now I "owe"...at least I feel like I do.
Nothing beats that feeling of knocking on one of the ol' timers doors holding a nice fresh striper and seeing their eyes light up.
What's that term?.....PRICE-LESS!
I'm such a glutton, I take other peoples' fish.... ...whether they're looking or not.

About the same here. I'm a fish slayer, and don't apologize for it. The flip side is that I still manage to release 95% of the legal fish I catch, but I still take a few home for family, friends, and posterity.Nothing wasted.

I'll always take 2 fish when I go out. One for the family and another for favors and friends.
I also fish with light tackle allot so many of the fish I bring in are spent anyway.

Teaser, awesome avatar. Is that from the spray can artist?
Harvest only 30" stripers, taste the best. It's getting harder to catch this size fish for some reason. Seems they are much larger or much smaller than the years past.

Thanks, no it's not the spray paint artist, it's one I did myself.
Just a bunch of stuff layered on each other to make a complete scene, it's not finished yet.
