Smile More junk

I've always wondered about this one. It is big, 10". Heavy brass thru wire and grommets. Pretty heavy. Have no idea of who made it.
Any ideas on its maker? Definately need a big rod to throw it into the surf!

Looks like either someone copied a 5-1/4 oz Gibbs, or it's one that Stan or John ran off for one of their cronies.

Some Canal guys like the natural finish--especially for "road fishing"

What's it weigh? Looks to be red cedar in the photo.

I just bought one similar to that in the picture.
The guy who sold it to me said that he sells a lot of the natural
wood models to serious fisherman and they soak them in their
chum mix so the wood takes on the bait smell.
